The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

Hi everyone and welcome to the Library Blog! Do you ever wonder what librarians read? Well the staffs at both the Pinole and Hercules libraries come across an eclectic mix of materials and we’ll be happy to share some gems. Also, I’ll be posting some customer service tips so you can get the most out of your library.

One of the best multi-cultural books I’ve ever read is The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. This award winning novel presents a balanced view of a culture clash and speaks to both teens and adults.
