Someone Tried to Scam My Grandmother

My grandma who is a resident at one of the senior living buildings was almost a victim of a scam. Someone called my grandma saying he was my husband and that he got in a car accident and needed $800. He told her to meet at Rite Aid in Hercules. My grandma walked from the senior center to Bank of America to Rite Aid. I just happened to be in Rite Aid at the exact time my grandma arrived. She told me the whole story and I called my husband to confirm someone lied to her. I dropped her off and she reported the incident to her building manager and Hercules Police. If you know someone living in the senior living buildings please let them know that someone is trying to get money out of them.
