High School Football: Hercules Wins Again; Pinole Valley Loses Third Straight

The Titans have a strong second half as they cruise to victory while the Spartans are defeated in a lopsided contest

Hercules High's football team won its second straight game with a strong second half on Friday night.

Playing on their home field, the Titans defeated Salesian High of Richmond, 28-6. Hercules' lead was only 7-6 at halftime, but they scored 21 unanswered points in the second half.

Hercules is now 2-1 on the season. Salesian is 1-2.

The Titans play at home again next Friday against Piner High of Santa Rosa.

In Rohnert Park, the Pinole Valley High football team was crushed by Rancho Cotate High, 42-7.

The Spartans are now 0-3 on the season. Rancho Cotate is 2-0.

Pinole Valley plays at home next Friday against College Park High of Pleasant Hill.
