A teacher in Hercules is one of three Contra Costa County teachers being honored this month with a $10,000 cash award from the Eukel Teacher Trust.
Sarah Creeley teaches second grade at Hanna Ranch Elementary School. A press release from the Eukel Teacher Trust had this to say about the 16-year veteran of the West Contra Costa County Unified School District: "Creeley is a tireless teacher who values every student and incorporates their ideas and interests into her lessons."
Creeley will be able to spend the award however she chooses.
Each year since 1992, the Eukel Teacher Trust has selected three award winners from nominations offered by parents, students, educators and community members.
