1. Commissions Appointments: Commissioner terms expired on the Planning Commission and the Library Services Commission. The council will interview Library Services Commission applicants April 3.

2. The council discussed the city's political signage policy.

Citizens Financial Advisory Ad Hoc Committee Chair Hector Rubio, My assessment is that the city will be unable to balance the budget solely with budget cuts…we need to generate additional revenue.

7:30 p.m. PUBLIC COMMENT

Resident and Hercules Planning Commission member Mike Bowermaster, The Hercules Planning Commission did not approve of recent changes to the city's real estate plan except for with the Intermodal Transit Center advances.

7:12 p.m. INTRODUCTIONS/PRESENTATIONS

-The Hercules City Council recognizes March as Red Cross Month.

Michael Roetzer, Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services Director of Administration, In the past year, we've responded to over 300 disasters. "We always need public support, and we appreciate the City of Hercules proclaiming March 2012 as Red Cross Month."
