Volunteer Helps Keep City Manager's Reports Alive

Resident Anton Jungherr has stepped in to help continue the weekly reports.

Weekly city manager reports will continue despite the recent layoff of Hercules’ community relations officer, who was in charge of preparing the reports, interim City Manager Fred Deltorchio said Wednesday.

In his latest , published Friday, April 29, Deltorchio said, “…(T)his will be the final weekly report prepared by our Community Relations Officer. It has been a difficult two weeks for many of our staff, both those that have been laid off and those that remain. The City Council and public will continue to receive updates at City Council meetings.”

Last week, resident and city council recall organizer Anton Jungherr contacted the city manager and offered to help prepare the reports, Deltorchio said.
