Stretch of San Pablo Avenue to Close for Car Show
Traffic will be prohibited for 12 hours between Valley and Tennent avenues.
A couple of signs have been placed on San Pablo Avenue to remind drivers of a pending road closure. Wondering why? The stretch between Tennent Avenue and Valley Road will be closed to traffic 5 a.m.-5 p.m. on June 26 to accommodate the Northern California Cruisers 20th Annual Cruisin' In The Sun Classic Car Show.
The event is expected to draw thousands of people to Fernandez Park. The Cruisers club raises money for charities. Last year it donated $13,000 to local organizations, including $5,000 to the Pinole Youth Foundation.
