There is no deficit of opinions when it comes to community leaders in key positions of authority. Whether they're elected, appointed or hired by others in the hierarchy, they have both fans and detractors.

To gauge reader sentiment, we'll be posting a series of polls about people in positions that are often scrutinized for accountability.
