Pinole City Manager's Weekly Report

Changes in operational hours at city hall, new sales tax revenue data, a meeting to address the pending end of the swim center and more.

City Manager Belinda Espinosa's weekly report addresses reduced hours at Pinole City Hall staritng Aug. 1, some mixed news on sales tax receipts and updates on various meetings.

The ground-floor offices at city hall will be move upstairs, but times to apply for business permits will be expanded, Espinosa reported. City hall hours will be 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. City hall will remain closed on Fridays.

The Aug. 2 city council meeting has been canceled. That also is the date for participation in National Night Out, a crime and public safety awareness event in various neighborhoods.

Also, a meeting about the fate of the Pinole Swim Center is scheduled for Aug. 4 at the Pinole Senior Center.
