Pinole City Manager's Report: City Budget, I-80 Paving and More
Belinda Espinosa's report for the week ending May 4.
For those interested in the city budget process, a number of public meetings and workshops are scheduled in the coming weeks. The city council's finance subcommittee will meet on May 9, and and budget workshops are scheduled for May 22 and May 29. Of major concern will be the pending expiration of the utility user tax, which accounts for about 20 percent of general fund revenue.
City Manager Belinda Espinosa's report also includes information about a Caltrans paving taking place on Interstate 80 on- and off-ramps at Pinole Valley Road and reminders about the June 23 city-wide garage sale, July 16 golf tournament fundraiser for recreation and Community Service Day on June 2.
