Pinole City Hall Asks Residents to Rank Priorities

A brief survey and feedback form are posted on the city website.

Pinole City Hall wants to hear from you. The city's website has posted a Community Feedback Survey to gauge pubic support for various public services. The survey invites visitors to rank the importance of:

  • maintaining existing fire department service levels
  • maintaining rapid 911 emergency/police response times
  • keeping the Pinole Swim Center open
  • maintaining city parks and graffiti abatement
  • maintaining neighborhood police patrols at current levels
  • keeping Pinole Cable Television operating
  • code enforcement such as neighborhood blight, illegal dumping, graffiti, etc

After selecting priorities, site visitors are invited to leave a comment and to request follow-up information.

The survey is available on the website's Index page.

The city council has placed a measure on the Nov. 6 ballot to retain an existing 8 percent tax on utility bills for another eight years. The tax provides about 20 percent of the $10.4 million city budget.
