The city of Hercules will have two new city council members–and one returning member–by the end of the day.
The three election winners, Bill Kelly, Sherry McCoy and Dan Romero, will be sworn in at a 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday.
Romero, the outgoing mayor, was the only incumbent to be reelected. Gerard Boulanger and Bill Wilkins both ran in November but were defeated. They'll be recognized at Tuesday's meeting.
The general election in Hercules was a close one, with fewer than 200 votes separating first and third place.
Also at Tuesday's meeting, a new mayor and vice mayor will be chosen from the council members.
