This city has really gone to hell these past several years. There are important projects slated to be built without funding thanks to our previous council members. The Fire Dept. tells us that the unfinished part of 'downtown' Hercules center has no sprinkler system and is a fire disaster waiting to happen. They have even prepared for the event. The owners of homes near the waterfront are soon to be facing the removal of thier waterfront views with large storefronts. There is supposed to be a housing center constructed where the old BART parking lot is. Who in God's name is the City Planner? Check it out. Its NOT someone with any experience as a planner. Hercules has no City Planner. I'm just saying that the citizens need to hold our Public Servants accountable on everything single damn decision. Too many crooks and cronies have disappeared with our money. The mayor? Oh. Spending time with his family. A richer family. Hercules can only go up.

Marty, The Waterfront isn't about to lose views to large storefronts, Sycamore Crossing isn't houses. The City Plan based on the charrete is still available on the City's website. But if you want a laugh, look at the Field of Dreams! If you want a nightmare go no further than Sycamore North.
