Hercules Responds to State Controller's Review
The city's response was published in the review of the local redevelopment agency but was cut short, city manager says.
On Monday, the city responded to a State Controller’s Office of Hercules’ redevelopment agency.
The state came down hard on the Hercules agency in its review, which looked at 18 agencies statewide, citing allegations of misappropriation and insufficient funding.
Hercules’ response to the claims was published in the review but was cut short, Interim City Manager Fred Deltorchio said at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
