Great! This is a good move. Alameda has 3 times the population of Hercules, is solidly middle class and is well rounded in amenities. Has a vibrant central district, historic houses, lots of civic pride, great local venues, a ferry, everything Hercules dreamed of being but isn't. Even there strip malls there are better. Ah, woulda, coulda, shoulda.
