Wednesday, March 9, 2011, 7:00PM
Pinole City Hall
2131 Pear Street
Pinole, CA 94564

Wednesday, March 16, 2011, 7:00PM
Hercules City Hall

Hercules, CA 94547

The West County Wastewater District (WCWD) will be the Lead Agency pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and will prepare an Environmental Impact REport (EIR) for the City of Hercules and WCWD Regionalization and Reuse Project. The proposed project is comprised of improvements to the WCWD's Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) and new conveyance facilities (pump station and pipeline) to transfer wastewater from the City of Hercules to the WCWD. The purpose of the EIR is to evaluate potentially significant environmental effects of this project, to identify possibly ways to minimize any potentially significant adverse effects, and to describe and analyze feasible alternatives to the proposed project.

Please note: the preparation of a NOP or EIR does not indicate a decision by the WCWD or City of Hercules to approve or to disapprove the proposed project. However, prior to making any such decision, the WCWD and City must review and consider the information contained in the EIR.
