City Manager's Weekly Report

Pension reform, budget, redevelopment, National Night Out and swim center addressed.

Pinole City Manager Belinda Espinosa's Friday report focuses on city finances, a Thursday meeting about efforts to save the Pinole Swim Center, employee pension reform and more.

It emphasizes that despite budget cuts that include layoffs, cuts in recreation and employee compensations, the city is "far from being out of the woods." The lethargic economy and uncertain revenue projections mean that the city staff will "monitoring the budget on a monthly basis," according to the report.
