CC Times Reports: Recall Candidate Names Cities Where He Held Public Office

The Contra Costa Times Wednesday reported that Hercules City Council candidate has named Aulnay-sous-Bois and Les Pavillons-sous-Bois as the French cities where he has served on the “board of a French local government entity that is roughly equivalent to a joint powers agency in the United States.”

Boulanger's political background was questioned last week by his opponent, , in an election mailer and associated website.

The Times story quoted a French clerk, who said was not able to find or confirm Boulanger’s political records at the moment and “referred a reporter to the multicity agency (in Aulnay-sous-Bois and Les Pavillons-sous-Bois) for further information about Boulanger.”
