Yard Duty from Hercules Busted for Alleged Pot Possession in Marin City

The man alleges he had forgotten to bring his medical marijuana card with him, Marin County Sheriff's officials explain.

A Hercules man working as a yard duty in Marin City has been arrested for possession of marijuana, according to a Marin County Sheriff's Department report.

Tino Lamont Wilson, 20, was arrested at 30 Cole Drive after confessing to an on-duty street patrol deputy that he was in possession of the illegal narcotics. According to Sheriff's Lt. Jamie Scardina, Wilson alleged he possessed a medical marijuana card but could not produce it at the time.

Scardina explained the deputy had prior knowledge of Wilson and was aware of the man's prior history of drug possession, which factored into his initial confrontation with the suspect.
