Tuesday Log (7-17): Armed Robbery at Cinnabar, Pot Smoked at Shell Station, Found Mail from 200 Oriole Ct.

The following cases only reflect a partial list of actual cases taken. Calls for service not generating written reports are usually not taken.

Petty Theft:  On July 17, 2012, at 11:24 a.m., an officer responded to the 200 block of Devonwood to take a theft report.  The victim reported she had some repair work done at her townhome in June.   Recently she discovered a pair of diamond earrings was missing.  She believes they were stolen.

 

Vandalism-Possession of Marijuana:  On July 17, 2012, at 5:27 p.m., officers were dispatched to, an in progress, call of someone spray painting graffiti on a bench on the walking path at Refugio Valley and Country Run.   When officer arrived in the area they detained an adult male (19) and a juvenile female (16).  The juvenile female admitted to spraying the painting.  She also had marijuana in her possession.  The male was released at the scene.  The female was given a citation and released to her parents.

BobCop Report:  On July 3, 2012, the victim, via the BobCop online reporting system, reported she had been the victim of ID theft at Pier 1, and Food Maxx.  This occurred between June 2 and June 12, 2012.

Violation of Retraining Order:  On July 17, 2012 the victim reported that her ex-husband violated her Restraining Order, by driving by her residence three times.  The order states he must stay 100 yards away from her.

 

Recovered Stolen Vehicle:  On July 17, 2012, at 11:21 p.m., an officer recovered an unoccupied stolen Honda CRX, in the 800 block of Willow.  The vehicle had been reported stolen, to Vallejo Police, on July 16, 2012.  The vehicle was released to the victim. 

 

Possession of Drugs for Sale:  On July 17, 2012, at 11:21 p.m., and officer was doing a security check at the Shell Station, 3900 San Pablo, Blvd.  A female walked by him, going towards a vehicle parked by the Air/Water machine. The officer smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the area of the female.  The officer made contact at the car.  He smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle.   During a search the officer found two baggies, containing controlled substances.  A 27-year-old Oakland woman was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance for sale, and taken to Martinez Detention Facility.

 

Found Mail:  On July 17, 2012, at 7:34 a.m., a resident from 200 Oriole Ct. reported finding mail in her yard.  The resident had reported a burglary, to her garage, earlier the same morning.  The mail was from the 100 block of Robin, and the 2000 block of Pheasant.  The mail was returned to the Post Office and the investigation is continuing.

 

Armed Robbery: On July 18, 2012, at 6:16 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Cinnabar, for the report of an armed robbery.  The victim had been walking on Cinnabar, when a green dodge pulled up across the street. Two black males got out, on the passenger side of the car, and approached the victim.  The males brandished a knife and demanded money from the victim.  The suspects returned to the green Dodge, occupied by two additional black males, and left driving towards Turquoise.  Officer checked the area, but did not locate the vehicle.  The investigation is continuing.
