Teen Arrested for Toting Loaded Gun in Pinole Eatery

A 17-year-old El Sobrante boy was arrested at a Wingstop restaurant in Pinole after he was spotted with a loaded gun in his waistband, police said today.
Around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, a customer at the restaurant, located at 1581 Fitzgerald Drive, noticed a handgun sticking out from the boy's pants and reported it to police, Pinole police Cmdr. Neil Gang said.
Officers arrived at the restaurant and located teen, whom they found to be in possession of a loaded, concealed handgun as well as a small amount of cocaine, police said.
The teen was arrested on suspicion of possession of a loaded firearm in public, carrying a concealed firearm and drug possession, according to police. He was taken to Juvenile Hall in Martinez. Gang said the teen had no prior criminal history. His name is being withheld because of his age.
