Suspect Wanted For Attempted Murder in Millbrae

A 16-year-old South San Francisco girl was injured in a drive-by shooting on Saturday night.

The suspect for an attempted murder in Millbrae is still outstanding, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

At 10:25 p.m. Saturday, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the vicinity of the 600 block of Santa Teresa Way in Millbrae, according to Dep. Rebecca Rosenblatt, a public information officer for the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

Upon arrival, deputies learned a group of teenagers had been hanging out in that location when a dark colored sedan drove by them, rolled down the windows, and started shooting at them.

The suspect vehicle then sped off southbound on Santa Teresa Way, then westbound on Park Blvd.

Of all the teenagers present, only one female, 16, sustained any gunshot wounds and she was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment.

The victim, who is from South San Francisco, is said to be in stable condition at the time.

Deputies are encouraging anyone with information about the crime to call Detective Matthew Broad at (650) 363-4363 or the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Anonymous Tip Line at 800-547-2700.

Alfonso, until you know the facts DON'T ASSUME!!! She is a very well behaved teenager who was simply hanging out with friends. She's NOT in any gangs or associated with any. So for you to say something stupid like, "this is a south San Francisco crime being brought to millbrae by youth who should be home by 10:30" is REALLY out of line. You really make me mad. You don't even care how she's doing. You ever herd the saying, being in the wrong place at the wrong time?? Try NOT assuming in the future. SHHESH
