Resident Struck in Head with Rock & Honda Windows Shattered (Police Log)

This is a digest of police calls from the Hercules Police Department: 

Mental Health Evaluation: On April 16, 2013, at about 9:52 am, a School Resource Officer was attempting to locate a student that who left the campus without permission. The student was located and during the contact he indicated he wanted to hurt himself.  It was determined the student met the criteria for a Mental Health Evaluation. The student was transported, by ambulance, to the Contra Costa County Regional Medical.

Misc Information: On April 16, 2013, at about 9:52 am, a resident from the 1200 block of Turquoise Drive reported that she was hit in the head, with a rock, while she was sitting in a chair in her backyard. No visible injuries were noted and the victim was unable to provide any suspect information. Officers checked the area and did not locate any evidence or suspect(s). A case was taken for documentation purposes.

Attempt Residential Burglary: On April 16, 2013, at about 2:27 pm, an Officer responded to the 100 block of Maple Ct. A window, located in the rear south/ east corner of the residence was shattered but entry did not appear to have been made. The incident occurred sometime between April 02, 2013 at 6pm and the time of call. 

Auto Burglary PC 459:  April 16, 2013 at 9:25 PM Hercules Officer were dispatched to an auto burglary in the 1200 block of Willow Ave. The suspect(s) forced entry into the victim’s Mazda Miata by smashing the passenger window. The vehicle was parked in front of the victim’s residence. The loss was electronic items.

Vandalism Vehicle PC 594:  While Officers were investigating the above incident the victim, of the initial auto burglary, pointed out a second vehicle with the windows shattered. A 2001 Honda Civic had the passenger side windows shattered but it appeared the interior was untouched. An Officer contacted the victim of the Honda, who confirmed there was no apparent entry, into the vehicle, and there was no apparent loss.
