Possible Hercules Burglary & Illegal Swapping of License Plates (Police Log)

Here are some police calls from the past 24 hours.

 

Possible Residential Burglary: On March 21, 2013, 5:43pm, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Forest Run. The reporting party said he arrived home and saw his neighbor’s front door had been damaged.  Officers arrived and found the front door of the residence was partially open, from an apparent door kick.  No one was inside the residence.  The Officers were unable to determine if any property was taken. An Officer was unable to contact the homeowner. A contact card was left for the homeowner to contact HPD when they arrive home.

Seizure of License Plates:  On March 21, 2013, at 6:44pm, Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Cottage Lane for a report of a male subject switching license plates between two vehicles. The male subject, and one of the reported vehicles, was gone when Officers arrived. Officers contacted the owner of the second vehicle and determined the plates on her vehicle were from another car. The plates were seized and a follow-up will be conducted.

COURT ORDER VIOLATION: On March 21, 2013, at approximately 7:40 p.m., an Officer was dispatched to the 3900 San Pablo Avenue.  The reporting party was scheduled to pick up his children at 7:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Shell Gas Station.  The mother of the children did not show up to exchange the children.  A case was taken for a court order violation.
