Police Log: Little League Snack Shack Theft, Loud Tennis Play

Police calls for the week ending April 20.

Saturday, April 14

1:01 AM – A loud party was reported in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court. The responsible subjects were admonished.

2:14 AM – Loud music and people were reported in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court. The noisy subjects were admonished.

8:01 AM – A traffic stop was made on Appian Way near Manor Road. The driver was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated, and possession of tear gas and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. The vehicle was towed.

8:11 AM – Found property was reported on Pinole Valley Road near Savage Avenue.

8:26 AM – Officers responded to a report of a subject who brandished a firearm near Shell. The suspect was later taken into custody for possession of dangerous fireworks, brandishing, and threats and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. His vehicle was towed.

8:43 AM – Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2400 block of Colusa Street

10:26 AM – A neighbor dispute occurred in the 300 block of Tennent Avenue.

10:55 AM – A theft from the Little League snack bar was reported at Ellerhorst School.

11:42 AM – Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2900 block of Estates Avenue.

12:57 PM – Loud music was reported to be coming from a vehicle on Tennent Avenue near Orleans Drive. The responsible subject was admonished.

3:16 PM – Illegal dumping was reported in the 3100 block of Estates Avenue.

4:26 PM – Subjects possibly smoking marijuana were reported near Bayfront Park. They were contacted and no problems were found.

5:02 PM – A fight was reported in the 700 block of Belmont Way. A report was taken to document assault with no prosecution desired.

6:47 PM – Attempted theft was reported in the 1700 block of San Pablo Avenue.

7:35 PM – A possible theft of items from an unlocked vehicle was reported in the 2400 block of Lucas Avenue.

9:25 PM – A suspicious occupied vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

9:57 PM – A traffic stop was made near Valero. The driver was cited for possession of marijuana in a vehicle and driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was towed.

Sunday, April 15, 2012

12:25 AM – A domestic disturbance occurred in the 700 block of Lincoln Park.

12:33 AM – Loitering juveniles were reported on Ramona Street near Pinole Valley Road. They were gone when officers arrived.

9:08 AM – A non-injury accident occurred in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue.

9:49 AM – Subjects were reported to be drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana near Pinole Valley Park. A group was admonished regarding the alcohol and no other issues were found.

11:55 AM – A civil standby was provided in the 2500 block of Silvercrest Court.

2:15 PM – A domestic disturbance occurred at the Gables Motel. The responsible subjects were admonished and left.

2:27 PM – A disturbance was reported near Carl’s Jr. One subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Another was arrested for a warrant. Both subjects were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

5:45 PM – A license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Sarah Drive.

7:15 PM – A vehicle was burglarized in the 700 block of Tennent Avenue.

9:07 PM – A suspicious occupied vehicle was checked in the 700 block of John Street. One subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

10:12 PM – An argument occurred at Green Lantern.

11:50 PM – A suspicious occupied vehicle was reported in the 1700 block of Dalessi Lane. It was gone when officers arrived.

Monday, April 16

4:51 AM – A suspicious subject was reported on Oak Ridge Road near San Pablo Avenue. Officers saw a subject matching the description get on a bus and no problems were found.

3:14 PM – Advice was given about a civil matter in the 800 block of Alvarez Avenue.

3:32 PM – Loud music was reported in the 900 block of Belmont Way. The responsible resident was admonished.

4:12 PM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter in the 1700 block of Dalessi Drive.

5:14 PM – A traffic stop was made on Valley View Drive near Sobrante Avenue in El Sobrante. One subject was arrested for possession of stolen property and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

6:29 PM – A report was taken to document suspicious activity near Food Maxx.

8:57 PM – A report was taken to document fraudulent use of a credit card at Target.

10:27 PM – A suspicious subject was reported near Citibank. He was gone when officers arrived.

Tuesday, April 17

5:49 AM – A gunshot was reported on Simas Avenue near Diablo Circle. The area was checked and no problems were found.

10:27 AM – Advice as given about an argument that occurred on Appian Way near Canyon Drive.

2:15 PM – Identity theft was reported in the 500 block of Tennent Avenue.

3:01 PM – A vehicle was stolen from the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

3:37 PM – A non-injury accident occurred on Pinole Valley Road near Ramona Street.

4:38 PM – Possibly fraudulent activity was attempted at Best Buy. The suspects were gone when officers were notified.

5:03 PM – A theft of a credit card occurred at Michael’s.

5:06 PM – A report was taken to document a domestic assault that occurred in the 2500 block of Brandt Street.

6:04 PM – An auto burglary occurred near Applebee’s.

6:45 PM – A possibly drunk driver was reported on San Pablo Avenue near Tennent Avenue. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

7:19 PM – An auto burglary occurred near Outback Steakhouse.

9:16 PM – A subject was cited for theft at K-Mart.

Wednesday, April 18

8:24 AM – Vandalism was reported in the 300 block of Calais Drive.

10:51 AM – A stolen vehicle was located in the 900 block of Kittery Way.

12:43 PM – Officers responded to a family disturbance in the 1600 block of Sarah Drive. One subject was taken into custody for warrants and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

3:08 PM – Officers responded to a report of a fight in the 2500 block of Appian Way. One subject was arrested for assault and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

3:24 PM – Advice was given about a civil matter in the 800 block of Tennent Avenue.

4:02 PM – Advice was given about harassment in the 2400 block of Ramona Street.

4:48 PM – A subject was reported to be shooting a BB gun in the 1800 block of Tesoro Court. They were gone when officers arrived.

4:56 PM – Graffiti was reported in the 1600 block of Primrose Lane.

8:26 PM – A vehicle was burglarized in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

9:52 PM – A suspicious occupied vehicle was reported near Outback Steakhouse. It was gone when officers arrived.

10:08 PM – Loud subjects were reported on the tennis courts behind the library. They were admonished.

Thursday, April 19

12:30 AM – A disturbance occurred in the 1100 block of Nob Hill Avenue.

8:55 AM – Advice was given about a possible court order violation in the 800 block of Tennent Avenue.

11:07 AM – Loiterers were reported in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive. They were contacted and left the area.

12:49 PM – A suspicious vehicle was reported on Doidge Avenue near Hamilton Drive. It was checked and no problems were found.

3:00 PM – Fraudulent activity was reported at Best Buy. Officers spotted the suspect’s vehicle as it entered Interstate 80. A short pursuit ensued but was terminated. A report was taken to document the incident.

3:19 PM – Brandishing of a handgun that had occurred on April 9th in the 3000 block of Estates was reported.

5:41 PM – A report was taken to document suspicious activity that had occurred several years earlier in the 1600 block of El Toro Way.

5:58 PM – A domestic disturbance occurred near Pinole Shores Park.

6:32 PM – Arguing subjects were reported near Pinole Shores Park. They were gone when officers arrived.

9:02 PM – A solicitor was reported at Shell. They were gone when officers arrived.

9:04 PM – A suspicious person was reported in the 1000 block of Belfair Drive. They were gone when officers arrived.

Friday, April 20

8:21 AM – A traffic stop was made on Plum Street near Tennent Avenue. The driver was cited for driving without a license.

9:23 AM – A reckless driver was reported on Valley Avenue near San Pablo Avenue. The vehicle was located parked and unoccupied.

11:14 AM – An unwanted subject was reported at Shell. He was admonished and left.

11:17 AM – An unwanted subject was reported at Valero. He was admonished and left.

11:27 AM – Identity theft was reported in the 2800 block of Buckskin Road.

12:43 PM – Loud music was reported in the 2300 block of Collins Avenue. The responsible subjects were admonished.

1:41 PM – Illegal dumping was reported in the 2700 block of Pinole Valley Road.

2:30 PM – A fight occurred at Pinole Valley High School.

2:38 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 1400 block of Tara Hills Drive. The responsible subjects were gone when officers arrived.

4:40 PM – A loud motorcycle was reported in Sarah Park. It was gone when officers arrived.

8:03 PM – Unwanted subjects were reported in the 1300 block of Fitzgerald Drive. One subject was gone when officers arrived and the other was admonished and left.

9:07 PM – A vehicle burglary was reported near Chuck E. Cheese’s.

11:09 PM – A traffic stop was made at the on-ramp to eastbound Interstate 80 from Appian Way. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license and the vehicle was towed.
