Pinole Police Log: Drunken Driving, Target Theft and School Fight
Here are some items from the Pinole Police Department log last week.
Sunday, May 26
Drunken driving: Police stopped a car on Galbreth Avenue near Whippoorwill Court at 4:07 a.m. Officers determined the driver was intoxicated and arrested the motorist.
Another DUI: Officers went to a vehicle accident at 10:05 p.m. on the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive. One of the drivers was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Monday, May 27
Loud party: Officers responded to reports of a loud party on Donegal Road. The people at the house were admonished.
Theft at Target: Officers went to the Target store at 11:28 a.m. to investigate reports of a theft in progress. Two suspects were arrested on burglary charges and taken to Martinez jail.
Tuesday, May 28
Auto burglary: At 2:45 p.m., police responded to a report of an auto burglary on the 1300 block of Fitzgerald Drive.
Home burglary: The burglary of a house on the 2700 block of Garrity Court was reported at 10:34 p.m.
Wednesday, May 29
School fight: Officers went to Pinole Middle School at 11:20 a.m. to investigate a fight between two students. The youngsters were cited for disturbing the peace and released to family members.
Child porn arrest: A suspect was arrested at 6:06 p.m. in the 700 block of Pine Avenue for possession of stolen property and child pornography.
Thursday, May 30
Car burglary: A vehicle burglary was reported at 7:04 p.m. at Ellerhorst Elementary School.
Drug arrest: A pedestrian was arrested at 10:57 p.m. in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive for possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of justice.
Friday, May 31
School vandalism: At 10:44 a.m., police went to Pinole Middle School to check on a report of a disturbance. A student was cited for assault and vandalism, then released to a parent.
Driving while intoxicated: A vehicle was stopped in the 800 block of Tennent Avenue at 4:21 p.m. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, being under the influence of a controlled substance and a parole violation.
Stolen car: At 10:05 p.m., a vehicle was stolen on the 1100 block of Nob Hill Avenue.
