Pinole Police Log: Burglaries, Arrests And Assaults

Some of the instances that kept Pinole police officers busy last week

These are some of the items listed on the Pinole Police Department log from July 6 to July 12.

Saturday, July 6

Car burglary: Police were notified at 5:40 a.m. that a vehicle had been broken into on the 2500 block of Emma Drive.

Auto burglary: Officers received another car burglary call, this one at 7:52 a.m. on the 2500 block of Henry Avenue.

Bowling assault: An assault at the Pinole Valley Lanes bowling alley was reported to police at 10:53 p.m.

Sunday, July 7

Burglary arrest: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 1600 block of Sarah Drive at 12:43 p.m.  A suspect was arrested on charges of auto burglary.

Assault arrest: Officers responded at 7:11 p.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Dalessi Drive. One person was arrested on charges of domestic assault.

Monday, July 8

Drug arrest: Officers went to the 700 block of Belmont Way at 12:41 a.m. to investigate a report of a disturbance. A suspect was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Burglary tools: A suspect was arrested for possession of burglary tools at 9:35 p.m. after officers stopped a vehicle on Shawn Drive near Cornelius Drive.

Tuesday, July 9

Drug citations: Officers checked a suspicious vehicle at 12:03 a.m. on the 300 block of Danny Court. Two people were cited for possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol in a vehicle.

Suspicious vehicle: Officers checked another suspicious vehicle at 1:37 a.m. near the Days Inn. The vehicle was determined to be stolen. The car's occupants were arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Drug arrests: Officers were at the Days Inn again at 11:26 p.m. after a stopping a vehicle. One person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.

Wednesday, July 10

Drug arrest: Officers stopped a vehicle at 12:39 p.m. on Jones Avenue near San Pablo Avenue. The driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license.

Robbery report: Police were notified at 3:27 p.m. that a strong-arm robbery occurred in the 600 block of San Pablo Avenue.

Hit-and-run: A hit-and-run accident with injuries was reported at 7:34 p.m. in the 2500 block of Simas Avenue.

Thursday, July 11

Drug arrest: A suspect was arrested for possession of hashish and violation of parole after their vehicle was stopped at 1:34 a.m. near the corner of Appian Way and San Pablo Avenue.

Armed robbery: Police were notified at 4:24 p.m. that an armed robbery had occurred on the 2200 block of Appian Way. Officers searched the area but could not find the suspects.

Friday, July 12

Four arrests: Four people were arrested after officers stopped a vehicle at 3:33 p.m. in the 2600 block of Pinole Valley Road. One suspect was charged with possession of a gravity knife. Another was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A third suspect was arrested for conspiracy and manufacturing fraudulent credit credits. The fourth person was arrested for conspiracy, manufacturing fake credit cards, possession of stolen property, falsely impersonating another person and fraud.

DUI arrest: A suspect was arrested for driving while intoxicated after their vehicle was stopped by officers at 11:48 p.m. on Pinole Valley Road near Shea Drive.
