Pinole Police Log: Auto Burglaries, Drug Arrests, Armed Robbery

Some of the incidents that kept Pinole police officers busy last week

Here are some of the items from the Pinole police department logs from July 1 to July 5.

Monday, July 1

Auto burglary: A vehicle burglary was reported at 5:26 a.m. in the 1700 block of Canyon Drive. Another car burglary was reported three minutes later in the 1800 block of Canyon Drive.

Vehicle burglary: Another auto burglary was reported at 10 a.m. in the 200 block of Dursey Drive.

Drug arrest: A driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after their car was stopped on 5th Avenue near San Pablo Avenue.

Tuesday, July 2

Another drug arrest: Another driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property after their vehicle was stopped on O'Connor near Limerick Road.

Drunken driver: A motorist was cited for driving while intoxicated after their vehicle was stopped at 9:16 p.m. in the 1700 block of Marlesta Road.

Wednesday, July 3

Firearms arrest: After checking a suspicious vehicle at 9:21 p.m. in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court, officers arrested three suspects for possession of a concealed firearm, altering the serial number of a firearm and possession of marijuana for sale.

Drunken driving: A motorist was cited for driving while intoxicated after their car was stopped at 10:19 p.m. on Pinole Valley Road near Shea Drive.

Thursday, July 4

Weapon, drug arrests: Two people were arrested at 1:49 a.m. for possession of a firearm by felons and possession of a controlled substance for sale after their vehicle was stopped on Appian Way near Interstate 80.

Vehicle burglary: A car burglary was reported at 11:19 a.m. in the 1700 block of Sarah Drive.

Friday, July 5

Armed robbery: Police responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive at 2:27 a.m. The suspect was not located and a report was taken.

Theft arrest: Officers responded at 1:11 p.m. to a report of a theft at Target. The suspect got into a vehicle and police chased the car until it crashed in Rodeo. The passenger in the car was arrested for burglary and conspiracy. The car's driver was arrested for burglary, conspiracy and reckless evading.

Car burglary: A vehicle was reported burglarized at 3:50 p.m. in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.
