The Pinole Police Department wrote and selected the following items. 

Saturday, Dec. 21

12:14 AM – A stolen vehicle was located on Kilkenny Way near Kildare Way.

11:03 AM – A disturbance occurred in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. The involved parties were gone when officers arrived.

11:20 AM – A family disturbance occurred in the 2800 block of Estates Avenue.

11:37 AM – Advice was given about a civil matter in the 1200 block of Page Court.

11:55 AM – A suspicious occupied vehicle was reported near Toys R Us. It was gone when officers arrived.

2:55 PM – A burglary was reported at Motel 6. Two subjects were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. One was also arrested for burglary. Both were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

3:07 PM – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Nob Hill Avenue. It was checked and no problems were found.

4:06 PM – License plates were stolen from a vehicle in the Lucky parking lot.

4:47 PM – A hit and run was reported in the 700 block of Pinole Valley Road.

7:48 PM – Advice was given about harassing phone calls received in the 2100 block of Shea Drive.

8:26 PM – A reckless driver was reported in the 1300 block of Fitzgerald Drive. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

10:39 PM – Loud music was reported in the 700 block of Crestivew Drive. The responsible subjects were admonished.

Sunday, Dec. 22

12:47 AM – Fighting subjects were reported on Downer Avenue near Pinole Valley Road. They were admonished.

2:03 AM – A traffic stop was made on Maiden Lane near San Pablo Avenue. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. The vehicle was towed.

2:15 AM – A possibly drunk driver was reported on Pinole Valley Road near Interstate 80. They were gone when officers arrived.

4:08 AM – Suspicious activity was reported on Woy Circle near Sunnyview Drive. The involved parties were gone when officers arrived.

9:50 AM – A residential burglary and an assault occurred in the 800 block of 5th Avenue. The suspect fled before officers arrived and a report was taken to document the incident.

12:16 PM – A disturbance was reported in the 1800 block of Dalessi Drive. One subject was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

1:03 PM – A vehicle was stolen from the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

3:29 PM – A panhandler was reported near Safeway. They were gone when officers arrived.

6:36 PM – A domestic disturbance occurred in the 400 block of Dohrmann Lane.

7:31 PM – A noise disturbance was reported in the 1200 block of Bay View Farm Road. The area was quiet when officers arrived.

8:38 PM – A family disturbance occurred in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive.

9:01 PM – A traffic stop was made in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.

11:12 PM – A subject was cited for theft at K-Mart.

Monday, Dec. 23

1:47 AM – A traffic stop was made on westbound Interstate 80 near Appian Way. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.

2:41 AM – A traffic stop was made near Motel 6. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license. A passenger was arrested for obstruction of justice and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. The vehicle was towed.

9:46 AM – A report was taken to document vandalism in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue.

11:48 AM – Panhandlers were reported at Valero. They were gone when officers arrived.

2:11 PM – Suspicious activity was reported in the 2200 block of Cuadra Court. The area was checked and no problems were found.

2:55 PM – A fruit vendor was reported near Safeway. They were gone when officers arrived.

4:23 PM – Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Pinole Valley Road near Collins Avenue. Witnesses reported the occupants of the vehicle leaving the scene. Those subjects were contacted a short distance away and one was cited for marijuana possession. A report was taken to document reckless driving and a hit and run.

6:47 PM – A subject was reported to be selling puppies in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive. They were gone when officers arrived.

8:04 PM – A suspicious person was reported near Appian Liquors. They were contacted and no problems were found.

8:22 PM – A traffic stop was made on Appian Way near Fitzgerald Drive. The driver was cited for driving without a license.

9:46 PM – A domestic disturbance occurred in the 2700 block of Pinole Valley Road.

10:21 PM – A subject was reported to be blocking the drive-thru at Burger King. They were gone when officers arrived.

Tuesday, Dec. 24

12:45 AM – A reckless driver was reported on Pinole Valley Road near Interstate 80. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

12:46 AM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter in the 2700 block of Pinole Valley Road.

1:13 AM – Suspicious noises were reported in the 3800 block of Victor Street. The area was checked and no problems were found.

2:10 AM – A traffic stop was made in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and for driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was released with a citation.

2:16 AM – Loud subjects were reported in the 2800 block of Ruff Avenue. They were gone when officers arrived.

9:53 PM – Illegal dumping was reported in the 1800 block of San Pablo Avenue.

10:49 AM – A subject causing a disturbance was reported near Big 5. They were gone when officers arrived.

10:51 AM – A subject on a motorcycle was reported at Sarah Park. They were gone when officers arrived.

11:31 AM – A domestic disturbance occurred in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive.

12:24 PM – A vehicle accident occurred on San Pablo Avenue near Fernandez Avenue.

1:17 PM – A vehicle accident occurred in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

1:31 PM – A vehicle accident occurred near Lucky.

1:58 PM – A vehicle was vandalized near Food Maxx.

2:37 PM – Panhandlers were reported near Safeway. They were gone when officers arrived.

2:45 PM – A subject causing a disturbance was reported in the 2100 block of Pear Street. They were gone when officers arrived.

3:49 PM – A theft occurred at Wheel Works.

4:50 PM – Smoking subjects were reported near the Swim Center. They were gone when officers arrived.

7:21 PM – A theft was reported in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive.

8:00 PM – A theft occurred at Shell. The suspect fled before officers arrived.

8:57 PM – A suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of Felice Circle. They were gone when officers arrived.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

1:21 AM – A suspicious occupied vehicle was reported in the 2600 block of Doidge Avenue. It was determined to be a resident of the area and no problems were found.

4:33 AM – Officers responded to an alarm at Toys R Us and discovered that a burglary had occurred. The suspects fled before officers arrived and a case was taken to document the incident.

7:03 AM – Officers responded to a family disturbance in the 2800 block of Estates Avenue. One of the involved parties fled before officers arrived and was later arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism, and a warrant. They were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

10:00 AM – A burglary was reported at Target. 11:49 AM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter in the 800 block of Tennent Avenue.

12:00 PM – A reckless driver was reported on Orleans Drive near Tennent Avenue. The responsible subject was admonished.

12:28 PM – Suspicious activity was reported in the 3300 block of Diablo Circle. The involved parties were gone when officers arrived.

Thursday, Dec. 26

8:09 AM – A suspicious person was reported in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive. He was gone when officers arrived.

9:16 AM – Vandalism was reported in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue.

9:42 AM – A possibly intoxicated subject was reported near Pinole Valley Lanes. They were admonished and left the area.

10:23 AM – An unwanted subject was reported in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. They were admonished and left.

11:09 AM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter near Shell.

11:58 AM – A dispute between neighbors occurred in the 400 block of Laurel Avenue.

3:31 PM – A vehicle was vandalized in the 700 block of Waterford Place.

3:33 PM – A theft of a wallet was reported at Toys R Us.

3:48 PM – A subject was reported to be causing a disturbance Chuck E. Cheese’s. They were admonished. 

4:13 PM – A license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Hermosa Street.

5:34 PM – A resident of the 600 block of Major Vista Court reporting fraudulent activity on their checking account.

7:04 PM – A noise disturbance was reported in the 900 block of Belmont Way.

7:45 PM – A subject causing a disturbance was reported in the 2100 block of Appian Way. They were gone when officers arrived.

9:19 PM – A theft of a purse was reported at Toys R Us.

9:40 PM – A traffic stop was made near Valero. The driver was cited for driving without a license.

10:35 PM – A vehicle accident occurred on Appian Way near westbound Interstate 80.

Friday, Dec. 27

1:22 AM – An armed robbery occurred in the 1900 block of San Pablo Avenue. The suspect was not located during a check of the area.

9:48 AM – Vehicle tampering was reported in the 1000 block of Bay View Farm Road.

12:14 PM – A stolen vehicle was located in the 1700 block of Canyon Drive.

12:35 PM – A residential burglary was reported in the 400 block of Rose Court.

12:57 PM – A motorcycle rider was reported at Sarah Park. They were gone when officers arrived.

2:31 PM – Subjects were reported to be smoking at Fernandez Park. They were admonished.

2:41 PM – A panhandler was reported in the 2700 block of Pinole Valley Road. They were admonished.

3:44 PM – Advice was given about a possible theft in the 2600 block of Appian Way.

3:46 PM – Fraudulent activity was reported at Best Buy. One subject was arrested for burglary, fraud, unauthorized use of a credit card, identity theft, and falsely personating another. They were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

4:26 PM – Dirt bike riders were reported at Sarah Park. They were admonished.

4:52 PM – A vehicle was stolen from the 1000 block of Bay View Farm Road.

5:01 PM – Reckless drivers were reported on Sarah Drive near Duncan Road. They were gone when officers arrived.

7:52 PM – Officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a tow truck driver and the owner of a vehicle the driver was attempting to tow. The tow truck driver was injured and the suspect fled but was later taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

8:37 PM – A suspicious person was reported in the 2300 block of Simas Avenue. He was contacted and no problems were found. 9:32 PM – A domestic disturbance occurred in the 2600 block of Appaloosa Trail.

11:21 PM – A traffic stop was made near Shell. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.

11:29 PM – An occupied suspicious vehicle was reported on Del Monte Way near Pinole Shores Drive. It was gone when officers arrived.
