PHOTOS: This Armed Robber Hit a Jack-in-the-Box & a Shell Station in El Sobrante Last Month

The first robbery was reported at the gas station just before 8 p.m. on Jan. 30. The fast-food restaurant was robbed less than 15 minutes later.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office has released surveillance images of a suspect in two back-to-back armed robberies at businesses in El Sobrante late last month.

The video stills of the robberies at the Shell gas station at 3621 San Pablo Dam Road and at the Jack In The Box restaurant at 4080 San Pablo Dam Road each show a suspect inside the business wielding a handgun. 

The first robbery was reported at the gas station just before 8 p.m. on Jan. 30. The fast-food restaurant was robbed less than 15 minutes later, sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.

In both robberies, a suspect brandished a handgun and made off with cash. No arrests have been made in either case. 

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity or whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at (925) 313-2600. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call (866) 846-3592.
