Hercules Police New Year's Eve Blotter: Warrant Arrests, Meth, Domestic Disturbance

The Hercules Police Department selected and wrote the following items. 

Tuesday, Dec. 31

Warrant Arrest:  On December 31, 2013 at 8:17 a.m. Hercules Officers went to the 900 block of Elm Drive in Rodeo.  Officers contacted 23 year old John David Soukkhamthat, of Rodeo, and arrested him for a no cite Warrant held by this agency. Soukkhamthat was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Mental Health Evaluation:  On December 31, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Hercules Officers were dispatched, for the third time, to the 100 block of Crestridge Ct. An adult female was recently released from a Hospital and suffers from Schizophrenia. She reportedly has not been taking her prescribed medications.  The female was determined to meet the criteria for a Mental Health Evaluation.  The female was transported, by ambulance to the County Regional Health Center.

Wednesday, Jan. 1

Warrant Arrest:  On January 1, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. Hercules Officers went to the 100 block of Manzanita Way to serve an outstanding Misdemeanor no cite Warrant. 70 year old Teresa Sevidal, of Hercules, was arrested for a Warrant issued on 12/30/13, and held by El Cerrito PD.  Sevidal was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Stolen Vehicle Report: On January 2, 2014, at 3:12 am, officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Crestridge for a stolen vehicle report. The victim said someone took his vehicle, a 94 Honda Accord green, between 1-1-14 (6:00 pm) and 1-2-14 (3:00 am).

Disturbance:  On January 1, 2014 at 8:59 a.m. Hercules Officers were dispatched to Dome Ct. for a report of an ex-boyfriend making threats, while parked in front of the reporting party’s house.  He was reporting in an unknown make/model Blue colored vehicle.  The reporting party described the ex-boyfriend as a light skinned African American Adult, wearing a gray shirt and black hat.  Officers didn’t locate the Blue vehicle or ex-boyfriend. 

Possession of Methamphetamine:  On January 1, 2014 at 9:59 a.m. Hercules Officers were dispatched to the 76 Gas Station, 800 block of Willow Ave, for a report of two suspicious subjects.  The reporting party said a Black vehicle had driven through the parking lot, erratically, and was now parked by the Mazatlan restaurant. The reporting party stated the occupants of the vehicle appeared to be under the influence of drugs and were now near the mini-mart’s bathrooms.  The occupants were described as a Caucasian female adult wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt that said “smile”, and black boots; and a Hispanic female wearing a black baseball cap backwards, blue jeans, and a gray t-shirt.  Officers located a Black ’90 Nissan Sentra parked backed in near Mazatlan.  Officers next found the two subjects in the mini-marts bathrooms.  44 year old Juan Torres, of Placerville, admitted to possessing Marijuana inside his Sentra.  A probable cause search of Torres’s person yielded a small baggie of a substance, believed to be on controlled, concealed in a rolled up $5 bill; found in his jean’s right front coin pocket. The Sentra was searched and a small glass jar containing Marijuana was also found.  The second person was released, with the Sentra. 

Warrant Arrest:  On January 1, 2014 at 10:48 a.m. Hercules Officers went to the 1800 block of Redwood Rd, and arrested 27 year old Mykle Burton for No Bail Warrant held by Hercules PD.  Burton was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
