Driver Cited for Suspended License and Altering Imitation Firearm

The case will be sent to the District Attorney's Office for review.

On Jan. 10 at 9:02 PM an officer stopped a 1988 Toyota Corolla for a mechanical violation, at the intersection of Sycamore Ave. and Palm Ave. The driver of the vehicle was determined to be driving on a suspended license.

The Officer located an unloaded flare gun, which had been painted black, under the edge of the front seat. The driver was cited and released on his driving on a suspended license violation.

A second case was written for altering the appearance of imitation firearm. The case will be sent to the District Attorney’s Office for review.
