Some of the people with ties to the Pinole-Hercules area who passed away recently
Gabriel Naguit: A resident of Hercules, Naguit was born in The Philippines. He worked for KPMG and was an active member in the Filipino-Americans of Contra Costa County as well as the Knights of Columbus, Business Men's Fellowship and St. Patrick Cursillo Team. Naguit died July 2 at the age of 76.
Sandra Jean Reed: A resident of Rodeo, Reed was a graduate of John Swett High School in Crockett. She enjoyed time with her family, babysitting, camping, taking walks and caring for her cats. Reed died on July 2 at the age of 38.
