Romero and Wilkins endorse Pinocchieaux

Did everybody get their flyer in the mail today?    Excellent.   "Boulanger, Romero & Wilkins For [sic] the Hercules City Council".  Bill Wilkins and (especially) Dan Romero are so desperate to hold on to political power that they are running with Gérard Boulanger, who has established himself as Hercules' most outstanding liar.

The dishonesty begins right there in the flyer.  The new slate quotes from the 9/25/12 Times editorial which endorsed their editor's preferred candidates for the race...but the new slate quotes very selectively.  They forgot this part:  "We decline to endorse the third incumbent, Gerard Boulanger.  He won his seat in the recall election in part by lying about his past political experience and his education in his native France. We learned of his deceit just before the recall election.  As we said then, he should have resigned once elected. He refused. So now voters should right the wrong."

So now Dan Romero and Bill Wilkins have chosen, not to right the wrong, but to reward it, and to make it permanent.

Dan and Bill forgot to mention, when they quoted from The Times' endorsement editorial, that the article goes on to endorse Bill Kelly.   Bill is a fool, but, from all indications thus far, he is an HONEST fool.    Clearly, inclusion of an honest man would be incongruous in a slate which includes two liars (Romero and Wilkins) and an inveterate liar (Le Weasel).

Votez mal, votez Pinocchieaux...and his coconspirators:   Dan (“The Truth”) Romero and Bill (“Virgil didn’t sign the recall petition!”) Wilkins.    If you’re going to vote for a fraud like Boulanger, you may as well remain consistent, and reelect romerokins.
