Name: Leah Wilson
Occupation: Assistant director for the Pinole Young Actors and at other times stay-at-home mom.

How long have you lived in Pinole? Fifteen years.
Where did you live before Pinole? I lived in Hercules as a kid and then moved to Pinole with my parents.

Where did you go to school in Pinole? I went to preschool at the YMCA program which is now Tiny Tots, St. Joseph's and then Pinole Valley High School.
What do you like about Pinole? I like that I see people around town that I have grown up with and the kids that I have taught in the program. All my people are here in Pinole.
Where are your favorite places? I like Trader Joe's. I go there a lot. I walk with my son on the creek trail and go to Fernandez Park.
What would you like to change about Pinole? I wish the schools were better. I went to these schools and taught in them. There are things that I love about them, but they need work. It's not Pinole's fault. It's a district situation.
Where did you get your training in theater? I was in Pinole Young Actors as a kid. That's how it all started. I kept on through high school and did a little at Santa Barbara when I was in college there. Most of it came from just doing it.
What's the best part about Pinole Young Actors program to you? Working with my best friends and the fabulous children. It is the best job that I can have. It is not even work to me.
