What do you like best about your job? The best part of my job is working with people in person and over the phone.
How long have you lived in Hercules? I have lived here since 2001 so 10 years.
Why did you move to Hercules? My wife grew up here and this is where she wanted to live.
What is your favorite thing about Hercules? I like that Hercules is a smaller community compared to larger cities such as El Cerrito or Berkeley. I like that there are still places to walk and see trees around here. I grew up in a small town back east so I really like the small town feel here in Hercules.
What would you like to change most about Hercules? The city expanded and took on too many projects all at once. I would like to see the city focus more concentration on finishing up these projects we started and definitely not take on anymore projects at this point.
What is your favorite thing to do in Hercules? I like to get out and walk around the community in my spare time. There are lots of nice places in this city to take a walk to.
How do you think Hercules got its name? Hercules got its name from the dynamite that used to be made here.
