Shift report from the Hercules Police Department's watch commander.

0825 hours:         Domestic Violence:  Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Montego. The first officer who arrived on scene saw a male, later identified as a 23-year-old Hercules man push a female down on the walkway in front of a residence, police said. The man then jumped on the female and began punching her while she was holding a baby, oplice said. He was arrested for Domestic Violence, Child Endangerment and Resisting Arrest. He was transported to County Jail.

1212 hours:         Residential Burglary:  A resident on Moraine Court reported seeing a young male (possibly a juvenile) climbing in a first floor side window at the residence next to his. Officers found the window was broken and the rear sliding door was open. The residence was searched and no one was located inside. It appeared the suspect fled after realizing that neighbor was watching him. The suspect was described as an African American or Hispanic with light complexion, short hair, wearing long tan shorts, and a black sweat shirt. The homeowner arrived on scene and said nothing was missing.

1912 hours:         Soliciting a Minor to commit a Lewd Act:  At 1700 hours, a 17 year old female was walking on Sycamore between South Front and Tsushima when she noticed a late 90’s four door green Honda Civic pulled alongside the curb with the headlights on. As she walked past the car the driver leaned over to the passenger side and solicited a sexual act from the minor. She kept walking and the vehicle left towards San Pablo Avenue. The driver was a white male adult, 40-50 years old. This incident was reported late due to the victim waiting for her mother to get home before calling us.
