How long have you lived in Hercules? 15 Years
Why did you move to Hercules? My wife told me to. My wife was here, so I moved here.
What is your favorite thing about Hercules? Location. I like the fact that it’s close to the city and it’s relatively close to Sacramento. It’s right in the middle of everything. I like it’s location and its people.
What would you like to change most about Hercules? There are two things I would like to change:
1. I would like the City of Hercules to get their financial house in order. I don’t feel comfortable right now with where the City of Hercules is and I am not happy.
2. I would like to take the Hercules schools and extract them from the WCCUSD. We tried to do this before and there’s was strong movement behind this, but it didn’t happen. I would like to continue this process, remove our schools from WCCUSD and create our own school district.
How do you think Hercules got its name? The city’s name came from the Hercules Dynamite Powder Company.
