Hercules Contracts Policy: Change May Come

Interim City Manager Charles Long put together a plan together to implement a more fair and open city contracts policy. As a first step towards prompting open discussion between the city and community, Long has set up at public meeting Monday at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers to discuss the Hercules Bayfront project, a 40-acre planned project along the Hercules waterfront that would include mixed-use buildings and incorporate a transit center, parks and bike and walking paths.
