Interstate 80 Eastbound HOV Lane Extension Project

Lane closures, detours scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

Information provided by CalTrans:

Hercules – On Monday, April 18, and Tuesday, April 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., one-direction traffic control will be in effect on the segment of Willow Avenue that runs beneath Interstate 80 in Hercules. The eastbound Interstate 80 Willow off-ramp will also be closed on Monday, April 18 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Monday night, from 8 p.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday afternoon.

During the Willow Avenue closures, traffic will be reduced to one lane. Flaggers will guide traffic.

The closure will enable construction crews to safely demolish part of the overhead structure. During the Willow Avenue off-ramp closure, drivers may reach Willow Avenue by taking the State Route 4/Hercules exit (right lane), then turn left on Willow Avenue.
