Outing in the Outback for two, please. Check out this known favorite.

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Pinole Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

No need to purchase airline tickets to experience a night in an Aussie-oasis paradise. , 1361 Fitzgerald Dr., Pinole, is a neighborhood-known joint that throws more than just a boomerang.

A dimly lit atmosphere leaves foodies enchanted as one is surrounded by an Outback-themed environment with artwork of kangas, koalas and other picturesque Australian animals.

Besides kickin' food, what makes Outback worthy of a visit is a full bar and entertainment area that welcomes all upon first arrival. There's also the curbside take-away dining, where you can ordering anything from the to-go menu with the option of delivery right to your own vehicle. Ordering can even be done online.

Until April 5, check out Outback's Red, White and Bloomin' Menu featuring sizzlin' sensational appetizers like the Outback Original Bloomin' Onion or Chicken Artichoke Flatbread, paired with a main course of prime rib and Pacific Rim Crab Cakes and topped off with a syrupy-sweet Strawberry Waffle Shortcake.
