Summer Theater Workshop In Pinole

The City of Pinole School of Performing Arts announces the 2012 Summer Theater Workshop for teens and young adults.

What better way to celebrate the fun and freedom of summer then becoming a cast member of the hit Broadway Rock and Roll musical "Bye Bye Birdie", choreographed by Anjee Norgaard and vocal direction by Leah Wilson?

Set in 1958, "Bye Bye Birdie" is centered around "Conrad Birdie" and follows closely the impression Elvis Presley and his draft notice into the Army had on not only young swooning girls, but American pop culture altogether.

The City of Pinole School of Performing Arts Summer Theatre Workshop will meet from 1-4 p.m. in the Pinole Community Playhouse at 601 Tennent Ave. from June 25  to July 30 (no workshop sessions on June 29 and July 4-6).
