Miss Hercules Pageant: And the Winner is …

Kristiana Sunga was crowned Miss Hercules.

The Miss Hercules crown has been passed to 15-year-old Kristiana Sunga.

In addition to the title and crystal crown, Sunga also gets a $5,000 scholarship, a trip to Puerto Vallarta and a $200 gift certificate for Lush Cosmetics.

Miss Hercules represents the Miss Hercules Organization at city events as the city’s “ambassadress,” according to The Hercules Express.

Sunga takes over for former Miss Hercules Dominique Jones, who currently attends University of California, Merced.

Nine young women competed for the Miss Hercules crown. Courtney Dawson was the first runner-up; Janette Lares was named second runner-up, The Hercules Express reports.

The Miss Hercules pageant was held April 14 at the Hercules Community Center. Former American Idol season 11 contestant DeAndre Brackensick performed during the pageant.
