If you're looking for handmade crafts this Christmas, one option is El Sobrante Art Guild's 41st Annual Holiday Boutique in Pinole.
About 40 guild artists are selling their handmade creations at the boutique's new location, 1212 Fitzgerald Drive in Pinole, organizer Brenda Helm said.
The nonprofit donates a percentage of all sales to be given as prizes to art students and teachers in the West Contra Costa Unified School District, Helm said.
The boutique is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Helm said. Prices range from $1 to $300.
"You and your family can shop for unique and beautifully handmade crafts throughout the holidays," Helm said. "Items include jewelry, clothing, artwork, ceramics, woodworks, fabric art, toys, cards, photographs, ornaments, prints, holiday décor and so much more. Our unique gifts will not be found in the shopping malls."
Activities at the boutique include art and craft demonstrations and face painting, Helm said.
A percentage of all sales are given as prizes in an art show held at the Richmond Art Center, Helm said.
