1. What:

Where/When: Daily, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Pinole Valley Shopping Center

Why Go: Check out the artwork of your fellow Pinole artisans.

Pricing: Free

Where/When: 8–10 p.m., Berkeley

Why Go: Visit the Hall of Science to gaze at the stars through high-powered telescopes

Pricing: Admission is $9 for adults

3. What:

Where/When: Weekly on Sundays, noon–2 p.m.

Why Go: Spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon pursuing a hobby in the company of others.

Pricing: Free

4. What:

Where/When: April 1, 2011

Why Go: Only in Berkeley … a club night of bicycle fans gathering to celebrate their bikes. Ride to the club if you can.

Pricing: $9-$25

5. What:

Where/When: Saturday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m., Sunol Regional Wilderness Park 1895 Geary Rd., Sunol

Why Go: Bring the family and a picnic lunch and walk among the many species of wildflowers. There will be slide shows, hikes, crafts and more.
