Bio-Rad in Hercules Gives 7 Tons of Donations to Local Pantry

The Contra Costa Times reports that the donation will supply the emergency pantry for much of the next year.

 

A massive donation from a Hercules business will help feed and supply families at a local pantry for much of the next year. That business is Bio-Rad Laboratories, whose generosity was highlighted in the Contra Costa Times last week:

Employees at the firm's Hercules campus and the other Bio-Rad facilities in the East Bay last month assembled more than 14,000 pounds of food and diapers for the Contra Costa County California Employment and Human Services emergency pantry.
