Arrest Made in Vandalism of Historic Hercules Home

One Pinole resident was arrested and another was cited last week in Hercules.

One man was arrested and another cited on charges they spray painted the inside of a historic Hercules home Friday.

Police report being called to a home near Railroad and Santa Fe avenues around 4:30 p.m. Friday.

"Two White male adults were seen entering the building by an anonymous citizen," a Hercules Police log states.

Three Pinole residents were found in the home, and police say 19-year-old Haley Edmunds admitted to tagging a wall inside the house. Edmunds directed police to another room and said one of the other subjects was in the process of spray painting a wall, police say.

That subject, 19-year-old Robert Quintero, was on juvenile probation for vandalism. He was arrested and taken to the Contra Costa County Jail on vandalism charges.

Edmunds was cited on vandalism charges and released.

A third person in the home, a 20-year-old Pinole resident, denied any involvement and was released by police because of a lack of evidence against him.
